ArtZone: 82 Portraits and 1 Still-life

David Hockney's series of portraits (plus a single still life) offers a vibrant and intimate view of people who have, in some way, shared the celebrated painter's life over past 50 years. Sittings were held in Hockney’s Los Angeles studio, each for two or three days--a process the artist has described as “a 20-hour exposure.” Meet some of those who took part and learn more about the artist's process in this video. Then head to LACMA to check out the paintings first-hand.
